I've been basically embraced by my peers as someone who has said what they want to say and what they wished they had been able to say and that they recognize as the truth. As Americans, most of us are taught the same: that the free market is the best system in the world; that it produces more goods and services for consumers; that it raises the standard of living; that it works better than centrally-planned economies, and so on.
